Stamkos (15 fewer points, $1.5 million more expensive) went for a prospect, 2nd rounder + 2 late picks so I’m looking for a better package than that to move Crosby. Brad Marchand ($7,300,000). Looking for two pieces in return – a 2nd round pick (either year) + either a less productive forward or a late pick. Joe Pavelski ($4,000,000). No idea if he’ll retire or come back. Will move for a 2024 draft pick. It’s a gamble, but if he comes back, you get a 65-70 point player for a pick. Defensemen: Shayne Gostisbehere ($2,800,000). 13th in the league D points in 2023-24, very affordable. Looking for 3 pieces: a very good pick + a late pick (either year) + a prospect or less productive dman. Rasmus Andersson ($3,500,000). Looking for a less productive dman + a 2nd round pick. Damon Severson ($2,800,000). Looking for a pick or a prospect dman in return Goalies: Alex Lyon ($1,700,000). Looking for a decent pick in either year.
