Old No 7/ Red Menace

To RM: Shane Doan Kyle Turris Kyle Quincey BS 1st HL 1st PAT 2nd TO ON7: Mike Richards Duncan Keith GM reactions after some intense negociations with many names being tossed around until the final deal was struck. RM: ” [its] gonna sting a little bit losing Richards/Keith, but there are some great young guys coming up in the draft so we feel as though it ws the right time to make this deal” ON7: “It was our strategy all seaon long to trade our vetran players for draft picks and prospects in order to put ourselves in a position to make a deal like this. The emergence of Tavares, Duchene and Myers allowed us to move our top picks, and our farm team is full of young guys that we feel are as good as anyone we would have drafted in those spots, so it made sense to make a move.” The ON7 GM had this to say before leaving, “we are not done, we still have some work to do and some holes to fill, this will not be the only blockbuster before the next season” February 19, 2010 – 9:55am

QH Transaction Penalty – Eric Staal

February 15, 2010 magnum 0

Per rule 12.9 of the rulebook, After a transaction, it is the GM’s responsibility to submit the lineup change incurred by the transaction, even if they are obvious (during the season only). If lineup changes are not properly submitted prior to the deadline, the team which has not submitted the lineup change will be fined a transaction as well. This means that if all 10 free transactions are used, then the team will be charged an extra transaction (meaning an extra $2), and no player will be inserted into their lineup. If by the next week, the lineup change has not been submitted, 2 transaction fees will be charged to your team and no player will be inserted. Every week the amount will double until a lineup submission is made. For no transaction made, a transaction penalty will be assessed to Quebec Habitants for failure to send Eric Staal to his reserves for trade processing. F Eric Staal – Feb 15, 2010 – out No replacement put into squad for Feb 15, 2010 to Feb 21, 2010 period.
