Anti-Tanking Rule suggestion

I have a suggestion on how to avoid the situation of having star players on the bench going forward. Its actually simple, if the player was proteced by someone before the waiver draft then this player cannot be on someone’s bench unless there is an injury.

I know there are some cases where the protected player may have a bad season, for this I would suggest that the new player must not be more than 10 points behind the protected player in order to preform the line change.

Or else we could procced the same way as the trades and approve/veto the removal of a protected player.

any thoughts?

  1. Veto, the lottery is plenty. Let the guys at the bottom battle it out if they like. It is a fun battle to watch.

  2. You can’t limit the types of transactions if they have a better player currently on their bench… for this reason I veto or disapprove this suggestion
