Fellow GMs

We have seen many rule change suggestions lately and I must
admit that this scares me, and it should scare you also.

We have some GMs who are trying to change something that
works and something that is fun. I am talking about another Anti-Tanking Rule
Change

The SFHL is a league where you can Win it all and be able to
rebuild your team as you see fit, which is the true meaning of a Keeper League.

They are trying to take away that freedom by imposing these
rule changes of anti-tanking, where we already set rules in place.

I believe a nice chunk of money comes from these
“Tankers” and  I do not see the
harm they cause, the pool is not being affected, especially if trades and
lineups are being Need an account?Do you own a free defensive driving course online school?Contact us and let us show you how our online scheduling system can revolutionize your business and provide your students and their parents with an easy and convenient way to schedule lessons 24 hours a day 7 days a week! For free defensive driving course online lessons Dublin, we are one the best free defensive driving course online schools, with overall pass rate of 98% – you will know why on your very first free defensive driving course online lesson. made. In fact “Tankers” help the turnaround of
players which helps create parity in the league.

It is the GMs prerogative to make the decision to tank early
in the season or later in order to build a stronger team for the next year.

It all comes down decisions, and by imposing all these
anti-tanking rules it takes away our ability to make our own decisions and
ultimately the rules will make our decisions for us and i don’t think anyone
wants that.

So I plead with you, think about these rules before the next
vote, and think about the consequences they will cause.

Thank you for reading

  1. I personally have no issues with tanking rules as they are. My dropping fee suggestion is to create more funds in the pool.

My question for you Mr. Motorboat is, how many years straight will you tank?

  2. you can build a team without tanking, and if you still wanna tank you can, you just won’t be rewarded twice for finishing last, you will get the 1st overall pick, which in terms of a keeper pool should be the most important thing because it allows you to draft an elite player and keep him at a very low salary for years to come.

and i disagree, the tankers do not fill the pot…the top 5 do because they are trying to make a move to improve their team

    • I said a nice chunk. 30%of pool winnings come from bottom 5. Is not like it’s 0.

30%come from mid 5. Should they be punished also for being mediocre.

It’s not my gym argument. But I guess that’s all you read seeing how you think is Useless

      • with everyone trying to win the pot not only improves but it keeps the excitement going longer throughout the year. our current system has people tanking for 3 years straight from the get go, without a hope in hell. this is about competition, not working the system in a way that u can win it every 4-5 years (or have a slight chance). being lazy about it is wrong. there are GMs constantly competing despite the current rules. they should be a model of what to do and not the reverse. we encouraged tanking early on with 2 champs that have done it before. but our current champ has never tanked. and he’s the only repeat champ. look at the sister league. tanking did fuck all for those who tanked. get my point? tanking should be eliminated completely. i barely had desire to watch hockey when i did it and i plan to never do it again either.

        • That’s your choice. But I don’t have to do what you do. And if your excitement is based on everyone going for it. You need a new hobby

  3. The fact that you signoff as “a tanker” is proof that the system is broken… you should not be identifying yourself like that.

    • How does me signing off as tanker prove system is broken.

You just try to find ways to fix something that is not broken
