Moulson on his own does not match up to Eriksson…but if we accept that it is in range…fine…but:
Iginla for a 1st that is only in 2014? The 3rd in 2013 doesn’t bridge that gap. Regardless of his high salary…the following trade was vetoed last year as a comparison:
To BTM:
Gabriel Landeskog
Valterri Filpulla
HL 1st round pick 2012
To Patriots:
Jarome Iginla
Ryan Smyth
Just as any FYI, I would have vetoed that trade because you gave up too much… LOL
the BTM/PAT deal was fair, with PAT overpaying for established numbers at the time. in retrospect, BTM won the deal.
you’re right, Moulson does not compare to Eriksson this year, he is much better 🙂
If 8 games sets a trend for the whole year…ok…and those are 8 games without Benn…anyways that’s my opinion…if people don’t agree that’s fine.
To make things fair, do you want to trade for Eriksson?
