I would like to set the waiver draft for August 31. I think the Zoom meeting worked really well last time so if everyone is ok with it we’ll do it again virtually.
You protect/resign list have to be submitted (by email to both Giulio and I) by noon on Aug 29. With that in mind, there will be a trade freeze in effect from Aug 28 at midnight until the end of the waiver draft.
Reminder, you have to protect 6 forwards, 3 D-men and 1 goalie, and your total protect/resign list cannot exceed 27 players. Once the waiver draft is complete the 30 man roster limit is in effect until the end of the season. Also a reminder that the salary cap is NOT in effect until the end of the auction draft/start of the farm draft.
The NHL season begins on October 12th, so try to keep October 10th at night available for the auction/farm draft.
