GM Penalty – Quebec Habitants

October 12, 2010 therockers 19

Hello my fellow GMs, it has come to my attention that the GM of Quebec Habitants went over his alotted cap on the night of Oct 4th. See timeline below: opening cash 10:00pm 5420 Oct-04 bid cumulative z.michalek 10:37pm 1270 4150 d.girardi 11:04pm 1300 2850 overbid by someone else 1116am oct 5 s.lepisto 11:07pm 680 2170 n.gerbe 11:19pm 2250 -80 overbid by someone else 1236pm oct 5 a.radulov drop 9:25am october 5 As per the rule installed the night of the auction/farm draft, the penalty for going over your cap is the loss of the player you bid on, the loss of your cash, and a $20 fine. All GMs present at the meeting were in accordance with this change in overbidding penalty. Since there has been a time difference since this has occured, to rectify all player bids would be hard to do, therefore to simplify the situation the following will happen: 1- Quebec Habitants will be fined $20 2- Nathan Gerbe will go back into the Free Agent auction at his original amount. 3- all of Quebec Habitants current cash balance will be wiped out. In conclusion, please check your cash balances before making bids. I had told the GM of Quebec Habitants to wait until the site was updated to make bids, but he ignored my warning. I have an email proving this. your comments below will be appreciated, but as per the rules agreed upon, this course of action is the only way.

QH Transaction Penalty – Eric Staal

February 15, 2010 magnum 0

Per rule 12.9 of the rulebook, After a transaction, it is the GM’s responsibility to submit the lineup change incurred by the transaction, even if they are obvious (during the season only). If lineup changes are not properly submitted prior to the deadline, the team which has not submitted the lineup change will be fined a transaction as well. This means that if all 10 free transactions are used, then the team will be charged an extra transaction (meaning an extra $2), and no player will be inserted into their lineup. If by the next week, the lineup change has not been submitted, 2 transaction fees will be charged to your team and no player will be inserted. Every week the amount will double until a lineup submission is made. For no transaction made, a transaction penalty will be assessed to Quebec Habitants for failure to send Eric Staal to his reserves for trade processing. F Eric Staal – Feb 15, 2010 – out No replacement put into squad for Feb 15, 2010 to Feb 21, 2010 period.
