Motorboat line up change ….it’s bullshit

Guys

I would like everyone to give your comment on his last line up change. It’s obvious that he is giving up on this year and want to finish as low as possible.

Could the commisionner get involve? If majority disapprove please reverse this action?

I disapprove anyone else

Ps if no action is taking, be ready for collateral damage

  1. Roger…

    ***NOTE***

For those who think I am breaking the tanking rule… Please read the following:

-Anti-tanking rule additions: no healthy NHL player may be substituted for a deceased, KHL active or Junior level hockey player

    – nothing states I cannot switch for healthy NHL players.

  2. I am OK with what he is doing. By making lineup changes, it adds more to the pot. If the other guys at the bottom really want to finish last, they should do the same. The battle for last place sometimes is better than the battle for the top 3. May the worst guy finish last!

  3. Agreed, there is nothing in the rules that states he can’t replace healthy NHLers with healthy NHLers.

also, there is a lottery in place now, so he’s not guaranteed last spot.

there’s nothing wrong with what he did.

Also Roger, worry about your own team. You wish you could bench players like Ovechkin and Stamkos. Instead you can bench Scott Gomez and TJ Galiardi.

  4. I have always been a BIG ENFORCER of the rules. And although it is bluntly a tanking incident, he is by definition within the rules. As such, GOOD job to Mr. Motorboat for finding the loop hole or grey area. I guess this will stem another GM’s meeting discussion on how to fix this…. however there is no way to fix a tanking rule… the lottery IS the best fix
